Are you winning at work but losing at home?

Long days; big wins; recognition; reward.

It leaves you feeling good about your work life.

Home? Not so much.

It’s hard to switch off. You half listen to conversations. It’s like watching a movie of home life, rather than being fully present in it.

You wonder if this is the price you have to pay for career success.

Being a partner and parent on the sidelines.

Meaningful connection is a trickle not a constant stream.

The idea of years more of this gnaws away subtly.

What will your kids think of you and say of you, later in life?

Will your marriage survive?

In my Home Straight coaching, we look at the whole of your life and what you want from it.

That might mean being really honest with yourself about the gap between your lived experience and what you truly desire.

For many I have the conversation with, it’s a realisation that the patterns, drive and desire that propelled them in the first half of life don’t fit anymore.

But it’s scary, terrifying even, to confront that truth and come face to face with what you really want next.

You’ll find all sorts of ways to talk yourself out of it.

‘It’s a pipe dream’
‘We can’t afford it’
‘My partner would never support me’
‘I’d be letting others down’
‘It’s too late’

Together we look over the cliff edge, only to discover, that it’s not a cliff at all. It’s a stepping stone.

To create a life you love even more, for the second half.
